Becker

Mr.
Becker is presently Chief Operating Officer for McIlvanePartners,
Inc., where he will also act as a Lead Consultant. Rich
is best described as a lawyer who just doesn't act like
a lawyer, mainly because he is a businessman first. He
has over twenty-five years experience in business and
corporate law with both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies.
His main emphasis in the operational aspect of business,
including sales, marketing, licensing, support, software
development, channels of distribution, problem solving,
and contracts. Rich has been a trial lawyer, prosecutor,
and in-house counsel to a Fortune
500 company, where he was a member of the executive committee.
Legal and consulting assignments have included business
strategies, designing incentive pricing programs for channels,
user friendly agreements, international negotiations compensation
programs for direct sales and channels, developing channel
structure and templates, conducting strategic planning
sessions (with the added benefit of balancing the business
and legal issues), designing selection and termination
criteria and procedures, developing channel policies and
procedure, developing implementation programs for channels,
negotiations and strategies..
Rich
has presented seminars in Channels of Distribution,
Anti-trust for the Business Person, Contracts, Strategy
Decision Processes, Negotiation Strategies and Tactics,
Acquisitions for the Business Person and Confidentiality
Agreements. He also taught Business Law at the Lake
Forest Graduate School of Management - Executive MBA
Program and Balancing the Business and Legal Aspects
of Channels of Distribution at J.L. Kellogg Graduate
School of Management, Northwestern University and the
American Management Association.
