Dan
brings over 30 years of professional experience, primarily
in the operations and telecommunications fields. He is
a do-it-all individual, that isn't afraid to step up and
take the reins. He comes to McIlvanePartners from Clarent
Corporation, where he managed the Sales Support function for the Worldwide
Sales organization. His duties ran the gamut in this former
start-up, assembling RFI/RFPs, providing global rapid-response
onsite support, designing customer-focused configurations,
servicing the Sales field with technical expertise, and
maintaining an ongoing line of support for Clarent's customers.
His interpersonal skills have shown through when the going
gets tough, continuously bringing all sides to common
ground.
Prior
to that time he held numerous positions during 27+ years
with AT&T. These included a host of responsibilities
involving Wireless, Outside Plant, Central Office, and
Operations, culminating with assignment to AT&T's
Tier3 technical support organization that was charged
with maintaining the integrity of their entire switching
network.
Dan's
leadership skills were honed at an early age as the
oldest of nine children, as his father's responsibilities
kept him away on frequent business trips. He continues
to exhibit these attributes through coaching and umpiring
at the youth level. He has been seen on a golf course
and is a devout Chicago Bears and Cubs fan.
